part 1 : identifying 5 elements
In this project, we were required to present an in-depth and analytical research study on Kevin Lynch's most famous work, The Image of the City (1960) and to identify Lynch's 5 elements: path, edges, districts, nodes and landmarks within a selected city. The city that I've chosen is Bukit Bintang which is situated in Kuala Lumpur.
In this project, I have managed to analyze architecture and urban forms in reletion to relevant architectural theories as well as managed to analyze and critique the relationship between architecture and its social, cultural and intellectual context
