project 2 : nature & us
In this project, we were required to work with a partner and complete an original journal following our site visit to Taman Negara, Pahang. We were to write up an essay on issues related to the built environment, nature and human communities. For the group task, me and my partner decided to choose the topic on "Getting Back to Nature or Getting Nature Back?". For the invidivual task, we were to draw inspiration from the activities carried out in Taman Negara and write a reflective essay.
Through this project, I was able to recognize the effect of development towards the environment and explore the concept of environmental and ecological sustainability. I also recognized the role and responsibility of an architect towards the environment and the society.
