1A : Precedent Studies | Analysing spatial poetics & spatial typologies in architecture
The objective of this project is to identify and analyze spatial order and spatial poetics through precedent studies. In a group of 5, we need to analyze 2 architectural precedents in which one precedent must be pre-modern movement and the other precedent must be contemporary. Also, one precedent must be linear, and the other concentric. The analysis should fit into a total of only 2 A3 papers.. The 2 buildings we chose as our precedent studies were Jewish Museum and Tulou. Through project 1A, I learned how to identify and analyze case studies with my group mates.

1B: The Journey for the 5 Senses
In this project, we were required to design 2 memorials for the given incidents; MH370, MH17 and Sewol Ferry Disaster (to choose 2 out of 3) and were required to use the design strategies based on Project 1A for the design with a walked themed "journey of 5 senses". We were required to produce 2 A1 panels of with orthographic drawings and a physical model or digital model.
