project 1a : adapting narratives

In this project, we were required to choose a malaysian folktale that would be adapted to a contemporary story. We were then require to propose our own characters design, settings design and 8-10 thumbnail pages of the comic through verbal presentation.. Through this project, I was able to identify elements of narrative in a story and to reinvent it for a new setting, assemble a simple 'pitch' package comprising of story, characters and setting design elements and devloped skills in communicating the above in a spoken and visual presentation.
